Abstract
Currently, technologies related to the use of synthetic prostheses for closing abdominal wall defects, as well as for fixing and strengthening the organs of the abdominal cavity and pelvis, are being actively introduced in surgical practice. Many years of clinical experience have confirmed their effectiveness in surgical treatment. The purpose of this work is to identify a collagen-containing gel in the composition of mesh endoprostheses using Raman spectroscopy.
The mesh endoprostheses used in this study were manufactured by Lintex LLC and filled with a collagen-containing gel.
