Abstract
This research presents an analysis of scientific publications in the field of nano-optics. The study was based on thirty-six scientific publications. The authors identified eight criteria that formed the basis for analyzing the scientific publications on nano-optics under study. The main objective of the study is to identify fundamental patterns and trends in the development of this branch of physics, as well as to identify its potential and limitations. As a result of the analysis, the authors found that the resonance-localized paradigm predominates. A number of scientists emphasize discrete structures and near-field modes. At the same time, the absence of a universal approach has been identified, which limits the possibilities for scaling the effects. Meanwhile, continuous and gradient media, as well as polarization-invariant modes, remain insufficiently studied. The study employs quantitative analytical methods. The authors test their proposed hypotheses and suggest directions for further research in this field.
