Comparative analysis of data balancing methods for the classification of raman spectra of skin growths based on a convolutional neural network

Abstract

This work is devoted to the study of data balancing in the classification of Raman spectra of skin neoplasms. The article analyzes the technical aspects of the methodology, as well as raises the question of the lack of data for the classification of rare types of skin formations. The process of preprocessing spectral data is described, the results of the model's work on medical data and numerical indicators of classification quality are presented.
