The effect of iron doping of cadmium sulfide on the optical and photoelectric characteristics of the material

Abstract
This paper experimentally investigated the optical and photoelectric properties of a hydrophase material based on Fe-doped CdS. The addition of Fe to CdS differs in the method of Fe incorporation and its amount. The optical band gap of the studied samples was determined based on transmission spectral analysis. Conclusions were drawn regarding the influence of the CdS:Fe production technology on the optical and photoelectric properties.
