Abstract
For graphene exposed to a quasi-harmonic spatially uniform electric field, the dynamic conductivity and the field reflection, absorption, and transmission coefficients are calculated as functions of the field amplitude and frequency. The applicability domain (boundaries) of the approach is determined on the plane of field parameters (amplitude, frequency). In a certain subdomain, the results are consistent with those obtained using other approaches: the transmittance is T ≃ 1 — πα ≃ 0.98 (where α is the fine-structure constant), and the conductivity is σ ≃ e^2/4ℏ.
