Statistical Analysis of Polarized Speckle Fields Scatted by Skin Dermis During Optical Immersion Clearing

Abstract
The report presents a method for analyzing the spatial and statistical characteristics of polarized speckle fields scattered by skin dermis in vivo during optical immersion clearing. The developed measurement pipeline continuously reconstructs three biophysical quantities: spatial polarization contrast (which decreases upon clearing), the effective scattering coefficient (reflecting a reduction in medium turbidity), and the matched interstitial matrix refractive index (glucose accumulation). The analysis demonstrates high accuracy and reproducibility of non-linear "osmotic wave-like" trends.
