Relevance of Quantum Informatics in School Motivated by International Experience

Abstract
Using the example of foreign experience implemented in the Quantum Quest course, it has been studied the relevance of introducing quantum informatics into the school computer science course, with the aim of training personnel for the economy based on the achievements of the unfolding second quantum revolution. In particular, a comprehensive methodology for introducing the concept of a qubit into the Quantum Quest course through the concept of a probabilistic bit, requiring from the student only basic knowledge of the possibilities, is considered. The introduction of a qubit in this case is simply the development of the principle of a probabilistic bit. In addition, for better learning of the course material, in particular the concept of entanglement, basic operations, basic quantum algorithms, the Quantum Quest online course uses the Quirky online simulator, the basic operations of which are also described in the article. In this context, using the example of official educational literature on computer science, a comparative analysis of computer science programs at school and the Quantum Quest course program was carried out. In addition, the study is supplemented by a sociological analysis of the pertinence of the topic of quantum technologies in the relevant age groups. It has been revealed that most of school students and students know a little about quantum technologies. But despite this fact, they have interest in quantum technologies.
