Building a system of differential diagnosis of oncological diseases of the thoracic region

Abstract
The paper suggests approaches for developing an intelligent system that automates the analysis of computed tomography in predicting the spread of the tumor process. The system is based on the use of pattern recognition methods and expert systems for the diagnosis and prediction of breast cancer. This makes it possible to increase the accuracy and speed of diagnosis, and thereby reduce the burden on medical personnel, as well as the degree of subjectivity in interpreting the results. It is proposed to build a hybrid system for predicting metastasis and progression of the tumor process. The research uses methods of system analysis, pattern recognition, medical image processing, machine learning, and expert systems.
