Abstract
Linear-optical quantum computing steadily gathers its place among the most promising quantum computing platform. A unique feature - the complete absence of the interaction between information careers - implies that the linear-optical entangling operations are intrinsically probabilistic. This hurdle is overcome in the fusion-based quantum computing model. We discuss a constructive method of translation of a quantum circuit to qubits in a fusion network encoded using the surface code. We also provide estimates of loss thresholds in optical circuitry which implements parts of the fusion-based quantum processor.
